OBERLIN, Kan. -- Robert "Bob" O. Ream, 77, died Monday (Oct. 10, 2016), at Kearney, Neb.

He was born July 10, 1939, in Smith County, Kan., to Chas. H. and Lone E. (Allen) Ream. He graduated from Lebanon High School in 1957. He married Sharon Myers in Smith County on Aug. 24, 1958. He was retired and the former owner and operator of R and S Repair in Oberlin.

He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Oberlin.

He was preceded in death by parents, Chas. H. and Lone E. (Allen) Ream; sister, Charlene Barrett; brother-in-law, James Barrett; grandson, Jason Leitner; and father- and mother-in-law, Everett and Ila Myers.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Ream of Oberlin; children, Terry Ream (Peggy) of Oberlin, Pam Simonsson (Brian) of Oberlin and Debbie Leitner (Doug Wilson) of Gem; brother, Glenn Ream of Alabama; brother-in-law, Dean Myers (Donna) of Smith Center; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildrren.

Visitation is Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, after 8 a.m., at Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin.

Services are Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, 2 p.m. at Pauls Funeral Home with the Rev. Shelly Holle officiating. Interment is at the Oberlin Cemetery.
