Police: Abduction claim unsubstantiated

McCOOK, Neb. -- McCook police have determined that a report of an attempted child abduction at Walmart in McCook Friday is unfounded.

Police have investigated and watched security surveillance videos and determined that no child abduction attempt occurred. The investigation continues into possible false reporting.
