Barn art classes May 14, June 4
OBERLIN, Kan. -- The Decatur County Barn Art Quilt Trail plans two barn art classes.
° Saturday, May 14, 9 a.m.- 2:00 p.m., 4x4 or 6x6 boards.
° Saturday, June 4, 10 a.m.- 2:00 p.m., 1x1 or 2x2 boards.
Both classes will be at the BEE Building in downtown Oberlin. The class is prepay, non-refundable. 4x4s are 50-$100 and 6x6s are $75-$150, depending on difficulty of pattern. The smaller ones will range for $10 for a 1x1; 2x2 are $35-$50, depending on pattern and difficulty.
A student may bring his/her own pattern and draw it, or have BAQT organizers help pick out one. A volunteer can draw the pattern on, if contacted in advance. Contact Kem Bryan for information, (785) 475-3395.
Also, there are sign-up sheets at the Chamber office and money needs to be left with the completed form.
Bring a sack lunch, hair dryer and a yard stick.
