Free swimming Monday as McCook pool opens

McCOOK, Neb. -- The City of McCook swimming pool opens Monday, June 1, kicking off the 2015 season with an annual free swim day.

The pool will be open from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Admission prices remain the same as prior years with daily and season pass options. Daily admission for adults age 13 and older is $2.50; children age 12 and younger, including the baby pool, is priced at $1 daily.

Season passes are $60 for families; $35 for adults age 13 and older; and $25 for children age 12 and younger.

Hours the pool is open may vary with attendance, weather and lifeguard availability, according to city staff.
