State Farm's "Good Neigh-bear" cheers Tuesday afternoon as Caleb Shaw, a third grader at St. Patrick's Catholic Elementary School in McCook, Nebraska, successfully completes the figure-eight obstacle course during a bike rodeo sponsored by Linda Maiden's office of State Farm Insurance. Maiden said that wearing a helmet can reduce the risk of head injury in a bicycle accident by as much as 85 percent. First graders at St. Patrick's and at McCook Elementary will receive free helmets during their bike rodeos this spring. Maiden, Good Neigh-bear and bike rodeo volunteers will visit McCook Elementary April 23 and 24.
