Electronics dominate MPCC agenda
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. -- Mid-Plains Community College governors will get iPad training and consider contracts for computer services at this week's meeting.
The work session starts at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday in Room 200 on the North Campus of North Platte Community College, 1101 Halligan in North Platte and the regular meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.
A training session for agenda software also will be conducted.
At the regular meeting, the board will consider an annual maintenance agreement with Jenzabar, the college's student information system, for $167,186 for 21 modules.
The governors will also consider a three-year contract with Blackboard, the college's learning management system, at a cost increasing from about $89,000 in 2015-16 to $93,000 by 2017-18.
The board will also consider approving a new logo for NPCC Athletics.
Committee assignments will also be concerned.
