GOTHENBURG, Neb. -- Evelyn Aden, 92, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died Monday (Jan. 19, 2015), in Gothenburg.

She was born Feb. 17, 1922, in Gothenburg to Martin G. and Hulda (Ludwig) Block.

She grew up in Gothenburg and attended school in Gothenbug.

She married Alfred Gerd Aden on Sept. 1, 1937, at Warrensburg, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by husband, Alfred Gerd Aden; brother, Milan and wife, Bernice Block; grandson, Alan Harms; and her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty and husband, Marvin Harms of Culbertson, Nebraska; sons, Larry Aden and Tim and wife, Cordi Aden, both of Gothenburg; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, eight great-great- grandchildren; along with many extended family and friends.

Funeral services are Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, 10 a.m. at American Lutheran Church, 1512 Ave. G, in Gothenburg. Interment will follow in the American Lutheran Christ Cemetery in Gothenburg.

Visitation is Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, 1 to 7 p.m. with the family present from 4-6 p.m., at American Lutheran Church.
