McCOOK, Neb. -- U.S. Postal Service rural carrier Larry Brush was presented with the Million Mile Club award on July 28. Carriers who work for more than 30 years or have traveled more than one million miles on their routes are honored with this award. USPS recognizes its driving force yearly with safe driving awards to enforce the idea of how important being a safe driver is on and off the job, according to the press release.

Brush serves RR No.1 in McCook and has been with the USPS for more than 20 years.

"The McCook Post Office is very fortunate to have such a great staff of carriers who demonstrate safe driving habits as part of their daily routine," said McCook Postmaster, Kelly Lace.

"Larry Brush is a very dedicated carrier who serves his customers with a cheerful attitude and I congratulate him on such an achievement."
